I can honestly say that I have never been to a wedding like Jen and Dave's and have to extend my many thanks (again!) to Yana Davis Photography for having me along for the "ride". From the ceremony, to the pig roast, to the surprise reception monster, it was a whirlwind of fun and laughs. J&D were married at the United Church of Christ in Canton where Jen is a member. The minister was awesome: he effortlessly found a way to balance love and laughter and it really reflected in his message and the mood of the whole church! From there we were off to Pequitside Farm for bridal party photos. There were so many neat spots, from the old house, to the barn, to the playground, to the Civil War encampment complete with reenactors! How many brides can say they took formals with a rifle and canon?! The rest of the evening was one big fiesta at the Canton Town Club with food and drink and photo booth fun. As lovers of literature, Jen had so many clever touches, with my favorite being the bouquets made from book pages! It took her an entire season of Downton Abbey to finish just one, but they were so worth it. Jen had originally warned us that it's a family tradition that someone dresses up in costume and surprises the bride during the reception. It was beyond hilarious to see her out there boogying with a purple headed monster. What a day! In the words of Victor Hugo: "To love or have loved, that is enough". Big congrats you two!
