Beth & Mike // Charlestown Navy Yard Anniversary Session // Boston Engagement Photographer

I met Beth this past fall when I changed jobs and started teaching at my new school. She was in charge of orientation for all us "newbies" and I was immediately drawn to her warm, kind personality. She's so outgoing and friendly, but at the same time so down to earth. You just can't help wanting to be friends. It's only natural that someone that amazing would find an equally amazing partner: Mike. In fact, Beth and Mike were married last summer, so with both their one year anniversary and their nine year "date-iversary" coming up it was the perfect excuse to get dressed up, drink a little, dance a little, and laugh a lot while exploring a bit of Charlestown.

We met first for a drink at Legal Oysteria, which is one perfect way to relax and ease into a session. But honestly, Beth and Mike didn't even need any help. They were complete naturals in front of the camera. Talking and joking together easily. From there we wandered down a side street on our way to the Navy Yard before changing and heading to the Charlestown Bridge to catch the last of the sunset, as cars and people rushed by. To look at their images though you'd never know that there was anything else around, they balance each other just right and I love that. Thank you Beth and Mike for being so stylish and so up for adventure! Here's to your next 9 years!
